A visualisation of the proposed design for the regeneration of the major square at the heart of Adelaide. Urban Circus was commissioned to provide a visual model and media video that would clearly and accurately demonstrate the intent and detail. The output shows the main features including a main event space with big screen and stage area, the ‘Grand Arbours’ and plaza area, a bicycle hub, an outdoor sculpture gallery, the Kaurna Centre of Culture, extensive gardens; and a tourist information centre.
Urban Circus was not only responsive and met our critical deadline, but provided additional value and service above and beyond my expectations. Their team communication and management, in-house modelling expertise, attention to detail and production quality was excellent. The fly-through has been a very valuable tool to help people understand and visualise the Masterplan concept and build project support.”
Jared Barnes, Senior Urban Designer, Adelaide City Council
Urban Circus undertook the work in a professional manner, working closely with both Adelaide City Council and Taylor Cullity Lethlean. They quickly established a basic model and then finessed the imagery to produce a remarkable level of accuracy in a short space of time. The fly-through has been very effective at both a political and community level. It has portrayed the spatial character of the proposal as well as the intended atmosphere of the place. I have no hesitation in recommending Urban Circus.
